A remote Virginia valley has been flooded by prescription opioids

Pills by the tens of thousands, then by the hundreds of thousands and ultimately by the millions found their way to Norton, a city tucked in southwest Virginia’s coal country, according to a Post analysis of federal data that tracked the manufacture and sale of opioids across the United States.
